Wanda J. "Nita" (Phillips) King passed away at home January 22, 2018 after an extended illness.
She was born in Mayland, Tenn., the daughter of Leo and Cecil (Jones) Phillips.
She worked in food service at Anderson College for 10 years. She was a member of East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church.
Nita is survived by her daughter, Connie (Paul) Klungness of Markleville; sister, Bonnie Boyd of Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry D. "Crutch" King, her parents, her daughter, Robin King; three siblings, Pauline Roberts, Billy Ray Phillips and Edna Vaughn.
Memorial/Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Carroll Cullipher of East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church officiating.
Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church.
