Barbara Jean Dyer, 65, of Derry, NH, died Sunday January 21, 2018, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Arlington, MA on January 30, 1952, a daughter of James and Dorothy (Buchanan) Koch. Barbara loved nature, including flowers, birds and taking the time to go on camping or boating trips. She loved the water, visiting Maine, and collecting seashells from the ocean shore. What Barbara loved most of all was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Dyer; her son, James Lee Dyer; three sisters, Karen Hamond, Arlene Mockapetris and Marilyn Koch; two grandchildren, Dylan and Cody; one great-grandchild, Aria and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 9am to 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Road, East Derry.
