Carl M. Jackson, age 87 of Canton passed away January 19th at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton. Born and raised in Providence, RI, he graduated from Central High School in Providence, the University of Rhode Island and was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was an Electrical Engineer and worked for Sprague Electrical in New Hampshire, Aerotronics in N. Adams, Mini Systems in N. Attleboro and retired from Northrop Precision Products Division in Norwood. A talented musician, Carl played the Saxophone and the Violin in High School, College and during his service with the Marine Corp. He also played for the Manchester, NH Symphony Group and later with the Viking Club Orchestra in Braintree. Carl loved trains and enjoyed collecting Model Trains and traveling on trains throughout the United States, Sweden and England.
