Phyllis DeDonato passed away on January 19, 2018. She was 97 years old.
Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Malden. She worked for many years at the Malden Knitting Mills and Faulkner Manufacturing Co in Malden.
Phyllis was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Rose (Bonavita) DeDonato. She was the sister of the late Margaret Fiorino, Mafalda DeDonato and Yolanda Maffeo. Phyllis was the loving aunt to Theresa Maffeo of Stoneham and John Maffeo of South Easton. She was the great aunt of Carmella Dion and her husband Nick of Waltham and Peter Maffeo and his wife Jenna of Acushnet, and great great aunt of Connor and Keegan.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday January 24th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church 297 Main Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
