Donald Dwayne Slusher, Sr., age 62, of Chase City, Virginia, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018. He was born July 9, 1955 in Fairfax, Virginia to the late Claude Slusher and the late Virginia Ayers Pierce.
He was a superintendent for DW Miller Construction, Inc. He loved the lake, his boat, and traveling to visit with friends. He also had a love for music, especially Bruce Springsteen, and attended 54 of his concerts.
Donald is survived by one daughter, Sherry Tinnell and husband, Robert of Manassas Park, VA; one son, Donald Dwayne Slusher, Jr. of Chase City, VA; seven grandchildren, Nathan, William, Devin, Christopher, Zoe, Conner, and Addison; and numerous friends.
A memorial service will be held at his home at a later date.
