LEESVILLE, LA/WEBSTER, MA - William E. Jedrzynski age 75 died Tuesday, January 16, 2018, in Leesville his home after 30 years of military service in the United States Army. He retired as Commanding Sargent Major.
He leaves is wife Elfrida Jedrzynski wife of 54 years, one son Peter Jedrzynski, one grandson, Daniel Jedrzynski & four great grandchildren, and numerous cousins.
He was born in Webster, MA, son of the late William Jedrzynski and Myrtle O’Grady both from Dudley, MA. He graduated from Bartlett High School.
He served his country with 2 tours in Vietnam, 2 tours in Korea & multiple years overseas in Germany. He was a lifetime member of the VFW 3106 & American Legion of Fort Polk, Leesville, LA.
After his retirement, his love for the open road brought him joy of seeing all the states of the union if not by his RV but by other means.
Funeral services will be on Monday, January 22, 2018, at 11 am at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, with Father Bill Phillips officiating. Services are under the direction of Leesville Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, 2018, from 10 am until 9 pm at the Leesville Funeral Home, 508 S. 5th Street, Leesville, LA.
