Edward B. Lavoie Jr, of Fall River, age 80, passed away on Wednesday January 10, 2018. He was the son of the late Edward B. and Ethel (Souza) Lavoie, and husband of Kyoko (Ogeta) Lavoie. Edward was a United States Army Veteran of Korean Conflict. He loved playing golf and going to the Boys Club to work out.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; Edward B. Lavoie III (wife Sheila), and Roger Lavoie (wife Kris Smith), granddaughter Berlynn Haupt, sister; Gertrude Golz, niece; Judy Parker, great nieces; Hillary, and Melissa, great nephews; Alexander, Zachary, and Samuel, and several cousins. He was also the brother in law of the late Roger Golz, and uncle of the late Patty Golz.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael’s Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Friday from 4-7 P.M.
