James Fisher Griner, 75, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, died Friday, October 28, 2005 at Roberts Care Center, Palatka, Florida
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Brushy Creek Cemetery, Irwin County, with Elder Ed McIntyre officiating. Visitation will be held from 7 until 9, Saturday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mr. Griner was born October 17, 1930, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Aubrey and Myrtle Holt Griner. He attended Georgia Southern College and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War Era. Mr. Griner was a retired Safety Officer with Mayport Naval Base. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
Mr. Griner is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Mona and John Weber of Green Cove Springs, FL; He was preceded in death by his wife, Emmaline Martin Griner.
