Donald H. Keith, 74 years of Brockton died Saturday October 22, 2005 at the Brockton Hospital. Born in Bridgewater, a son of the late John C. and Grace E. (Burke) Keith.
He had lived at the Paul Dever State School in Taunton before moving to Brockton many years ago. He had been a soap maker for a Brockton Company.
He was a member of several bowling leagues affiliated with the Bamsi Group Homes he resided in. Donald was known for his very social nature, his love of the Red Sox, history of local boxers including Rocky Marciano and Michael Cataldo, and could be seen every morning on his way to the local coffee shop where he would be found reading the daily newspaper.
Donald is survived by a niece Patricia Leavitt of Millis, a nephew Butch Sousa and family of PA, two cousins, Paula and Susan Keith. His surrogate grandparents Lorraine and Elvis Walls of E. Bridgewater. Also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
A Graveside will be held Wednesday at 1 pm at the Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
