Osvaldo Manuel de Medeiros Rodrigues, age 82 of Fall River, passed away on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Açores, Osvaldo immigrated to the USA in 1966. He was the beloved husband of Liliana Moniz Rodrigues of 58 years and the son of the late Almerinda de Medeiros Rodrigues.
Prior to retiring, Osvaldo worked as a Pantograph engraver for L.G. Balfour Company, Attleboro, MA for 34 years. He was a member of Associção Académica de Fall River, and also served in the Portuguese military.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his three children: Paula Rodrigues (Husband Eric Correia), Armando Rodrigues, and Ruth Carvalho (Husband JR); four grandchildren: Amanda Rodrigues, Victoria Correia, Devin Carvalho, and Taylor Carvalho; two great grandchildren: Fayth-Lynn Lozada and Jodeci Lozada.
Family and friends are invited to attend Osvaldo’s funeral mass on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. in St. Anne’s Church Shrine, So. Main St. Fall River Interment of Urn to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
