Geneva P. (Cripps) Dell'Isola of Medford died peacefully in her home of 61 years surrounded by family on Thursday, January 11. Raised in Natick, she was the daughter of the late John and Paulina (Wodarachka) Cripps.
Geneva was the beloved wife of the late Jerry A. Dell’Isola, and the devoted mother of Cynthia T. Dell'Isola of Medford, Mark A. Dell'Isola and wife Linda of Norwalk, Connecticut, Michael J. Dell'Isola and wife Doreen of Somerville, Victoria P. Coulter and husband Donald of Austin, Texas, Mary Margaret Moyer of Medford, and the late Jerry M. Dell’Isola and his surviving wife Karen of Westport, Connecticut. She was the loving grandmother of Geneva Garrison-Chambers and husband Chris of Leominster, Anthony and Lindsey Dell'Isola of Norwalk, Connecticut, Matthew, Daniel, and Brianna Dell'Isola of Somerville, Nicholas Dell'Isola and wife Angela of Southbridge, Rebecca, Jeffrey, and Alexandra Coulter of Webster, Allison Moyer of Perkasie, Pennsylvania, Jacob Moyer and wife Kimberly of Mt Vernon, Washington, and Jessica Dell'Isola of Westport, Connecticut. Geneva is also survived by four loving great grandchildren, brother-in-law Michael Dell'Isola and wife Betty, sisters-in-law Juliette Dell'Isola, all of Beverly, Ruby Dell'Isola of Medford, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven sisters and two brothers.
Geneva will lovingly be remembered for her kind and generous heart, her devotion to her family, her steadfast faith and her love of cats.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, January 18 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours Wednesday, January 17, from 4 through 8 PM.
