New Bedford – Clotilde C. (Cordero) Quinones, age 74 of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Israel Quinones and the daughter of the late Modesto and Isabel (Valentin) Cordero.
Clotilde was born in Munati, PR and eventually moved to this area several years ago where she had worked as a Presser for Cliftex for many years until her retirement .
She is survived by her 4 children, Israel Cordero, Angel Luis Rodriguez, Wanda Riveira Teixeira and Lucy Rodriguez; 7 siblings, Salien Cordero, Edna Rios, Sarah Rivera, Neddy Segarra, Miriam Caballero, Moses Cordero, Hiriam Cordero; as well as, 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Clotilde’s visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Her funeral service will be Friday morning at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 A.M. with a service to take place at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery.
