Paul L.Thibeault, 81 of Tampa, FL and formerly of Derry, NH died October 18, 2005 in a Tampa healthcare facility. He was born and raised on Brook Street in Derry, and he was the son of the late Louis and Marie (Lavoie) Thibeault. He was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, class of 1942, and received his diploma even though he left school a few months earlier to enlist in the Army Air Corps in early 1942, and served throughout World War II in England and France with the 9th Air Force. Following the war, he graduated with the class of 1948 from Becker College in Worcester, MA, and he worked in New Hampshire and Florida for many years until his retirement as a manager of a wholesale electric parts supply company.
He is survived by four sons, John Thibeault of Chester, NH, James Thibeault of Tampa, FL, S/Sgt. Joseph Thibeault, an Army recruiter in Texas, and Jeffrey Thibeault of Grafton, NH, a daughter, Denise Thibeault Lugo of Tampa FL, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three brothers, Robert Thibeault of Huntsville, AL, William Thibeault of Canton, MA and Richard Thibeault of Derry. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Raymond Thibeault, late of Hampstead, NH.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Saturday, November 12th at 10 AM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium. 15 Birch St., Derry. Calling hours were held on Friday, November 11th from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Private burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry, NH.
