Ann E. (Zecchilli) DiMinico passed away peacefully at the Park Ave. Health Center in Arlington on Tuesday evening. She was 93. Born and raised in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Napolitano) Zecchilli. A Somerville resident for the majority of her life, she settled there once married and went about raising her four sons. She was a devoted wife and mother. Happy doing the simple and important things involved in caring for her family, she went about her tasks of cooking and sewing with a song on her lips. She was especially devoted to her grandchildren, always looking forward to their visits.
The beloved wife of Albert C. DiMinico, she was a devoted mother to Albert J. DiMinico and his wife Ellen of Woburn, Anthony DiMinico and his wife Helena of Germany, Robert DiMinico and his wife Joan of Walpole and Steven DiMinico and Julie of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Aldavid, Mark, Michael, David, Rob, Deanna and a loving great-grandmother of 8. She was a dear sister to Betty Kelleher, the late Jenny Bohemier and Pat Zecchilli.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, January 16th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Eulalia Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
