PAWLEY'S ISLAND, GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC___Regina Bernotaite Visbaras, 79, died Sunday, October 23, 2005, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, S.C.
Mrs. Visbaras was born in Lithuania on January 2, 1926, the daughter of the late Juozas Bernotai and Stanislava Bukauskai Bernotaite. She grew up in Lithuania and was educated in public schools there. Mrs. Visbaras moved to the U.S. in 1949 and lived in Worcester before moving to Pawley’s Island, S.C. six months ago. She was the widow of Vladas Visbaras.
Surviving are: three sons, Vit Visbaras and John Visbaras both of Pawley’s Island, S.C., and Kim A. Visbaras of Auburn, Me.; two grandsons, Adam J. Visbaras of New Bedford and Scott W. Visbaras of Georgetown, S.C.; three granddaughters, Christina Visbaras and Lindsey Visbaras both of Auburn, Me., and Jennifer V. Vandament of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will also receive friends prior to the service Monday morning, October 31, 2005, from ELEVEN a.m. until ONE p.m. at HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester.
