WESTPORT – Beatrice S. Lindo, age 95, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late John M. Lindo. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Felisbina (Michael) Dias. She was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Parish and a member of the Holy Rosary Society. Beatrice loved knitting, traveling, dancing and most of all spending time with her family.
Beatrice is survived by her daughter Sandra M. Ledwidge (husband Jack) of Westport; grandchildren Lisa A. Grillo (husband Bob), John “Jay” Ledwidge (wife Cathy), Lori A. Norton (husband Joe), David Leamy (wife Lou) and Keith Leamy (wife Marcie); great-grandchildren Amanda, Matthew, Ethan, Elizabeth, Michael, Sarah, Catie, Drew and Nicole; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Brenda M. Leamy; son-in-law David Leamy; sisters Mary Lindo, Nellie Ramos, Evelyn Cabral, Olive DeCambra, Lorraine Green and Eileen Silvia.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael’s Church at 10 A.M.
