Giuseppina (Esposito) DiPietrantonio of Malden died on Sunday, January 7, at the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. Born and raised in Lettomanoppelo, Pescara, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Santa (DiRenzo) Esposito. Giuseppina came to the U.S. in 1972, settling first in East Cambridge before moving to Malden in 1998.
Giuseppina was the beloved wife of the late Rocco DiPietrantonio and the devoted mother of Gino DiPietrantonio and his wife Musriati of Malden, and Luciano DiPietrantonio. She was the loving grandmother of Jennifer, Kevin and Marino DiPietrantonio, and the loving great grandmother of Leland and Landon. Giuseppina was the sear sister of Concetta, Antonietta, Anna, and the late Camillo, Marietta and Nicoletta. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, January 12 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. Visiting hours Thursday, January 11 from 4 through 8 PM.
