WORCESTER-Katherine “Taffy” (Clifford) Fleming passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018, at her home after a short illness surrounded by her family.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Thomas Kevin Fleming and their three sons; Kevin and his wife Jomie of Charlton, their children Kristin Woodbury her husband Michael Woodbury, Sean and Mackenzie and a great-grandson Colton Woodbury; and Shannon Vail and her husband Sean Vail. Brian and his wife Lisa of Apex, NC and their children Grace, Jack, and Kate. Mark and his wife Dawn of Worcester, and their children Markkie, Jaelin, and Keenan.Taffy leaves a brother Terrance Clifford and his wife Susan of Worcester; a sister Susan Fields and her husband Jerry of South Carolina. She was predeceased by four brothers, John, Phillip, Bernard and Paul Clifford. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Phillip and Mary (Albro) Clifford.
Taffy was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and St. Vincent School of Nursing. She was most recently employed by Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital. She loved spending time with her family and especially loved Cape Cod.
The family would like to thank Dr. Amy Pratt, Dr. Bradley Switzer and Dr. Susan Zweizig and their teams for all their compassionate care and loving support throughout Taffy’s illness.
Visiting Hours are Thursday, January 11 in CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street from 4:00 to 8:00pm with a Prayer Service 7:45pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
