Laconia-----Lee Hodgman, 75, of Morrill Street passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Lakes Region General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Lee was born February 24, 1942 in Rochester, NH daughter to the late Leonard and Olive(Burres) Prescott. She worked at Laconia High School in the lunch program for many years and later worked at New Hampton Antiques and Boot Leggers before retirement. She loved to plant in her garden, bird watch and walks along the beach at the ocean. Most of all she enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren play and grow.
Lee was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard Oliver Hodgman; two sons, Scott and Glenn Hodgman; six grandchildren, Jacob, Jimmy, Jeff, Scott, Jerrica and Aaron; nine great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Sasha, Connor, Dominick, Aubry, Demetri, Tucker, Julian and Violet; three brothers, Eddy Canfield of Pittsfield, David Prescott and his significant other, Joyce of Maine and Chris Prescott and his wife, Lydia of California and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by a brother, Dennis L. Prescott and a sister, Donna L. Prescott.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 4:00-6:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A Memorial Service will follow, at 6:00pm Thursday January 11, 2018 also at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
