Barbara Edwards, 80, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.
She leaves two sons: Neil Matthews of Southbridge and Paul Matthews and his wife Nadine M. Matthews of Webster, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Barbara was born in Eccles, Manchester, England, daughter of the late James and Kate (Hardy) Edwards and has lived in Webster over 30 years. She was also predeceased by a brother Ralph James Edwards.
Barbara was a member of the United Church of Christ, Federated and served on many of the church committees over the years.
She worked as a home health aide for The Visiting Nurses of Southern Worcester County before retiring. Barbara enjoyed to knit and crochet, especially towels and dishcloths.
There are no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be at a later date ( an announcement will be made prior to that time).
