Frank L. Daley, a 43 year resident of Randolph and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was 76 years of age.
Frank was born in Quincy on May 31, 1941, a son of the late Frank G. Daley and Gloria (Goodwin) Daley. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system. Frank enlisted into the United States Army on February 12, 1963 and served his country faithfully and with pride during the Vietnam Conflict. He was honorably discharged on November 13, 1963 with the rank of Private First Class. Frank worked as a milkman for the Hood Milk Company for over 30 years until his retirement. He loved his family, especially traveling to watch his grandchildren play hockey, and he also loved watching football. He was a member of the VFW Post #3389 in Randolph.
Frank is the beloved husband of 59 years to Geraldine "Gerre" (Sullivan) Daley. He is the devoted father of Geraldine "Gerry" Daley. He is the loving Beep to James Kane Jr. and his wife Susan, Patrick Kane and his wife Rosanna, Michelle Kane Hennessy and her husband Quinn, and to his great-grandchildren Briana, Alexis, Quinn Jr., Isabella, and Logan. He is the father-in-law of Jimmy Kane. He is the beloved brother of the late William "Bill" Daley and his surviving wife Janice and Bobby Stearns. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Frank's visiting hours on Wednesday morning, January 10, 2018 from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. followed by his Funeral Service at 11 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
