Jerry Carol Camp, 60, of Lenox passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Camp at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Lenox Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Allen Mullis will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 4, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The family will be at the home of Fred and Cindy Camp, 1337 Carrol Willis Road in Lenox.
Doug Meders, Danny Rowan, Danny Harrell, Justin Hale, Dewayne Weatherington, Don Marchant, Mark Camp and Keith Douthit will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Born June 28, 1957 in Tift County, Mr. Camp was the son of the late John Morris Camp and Ellen Magdalene Clements Camp. He was retired and of the Baptist Faith and loved his dog, Sassie.
Mr. Camp is survived by his wife, Stacie Jones Camp of Lenox; one step-daughter, Mariah Diaz Watts of Oklahoma; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Sandra Camp of Norman Park and Fred and Cindy Camp of Lenox; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Lynn and Danny Harrell of Lenox and Sandy Gonzales of Omega; and six step-grandchildren.
