Helen (McIsaac) Van Den Berghe, 96, of Manchester, died October 25, 2005 at Catholic Medical Center. She was born on November 21, 1908 in Boston MA.
She had lived in the greater
Manchester area since 1928. She was educated in local schools, and received her LPN from Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. Later worked at several local hospitals including Moore General, Notre Dame, Sacred Heart, and CMC. She was the past President and officer of State LPN association, a volunteer at CMC, and in 1990 was chosen volunteer of the year. She will be remembered as being personable, and friendly.
In her life: Family members include her daughter, Patricia O’Shaughnessy, of Bedford MA; a son F.W. Peter Van Den Berghe, of Manchester; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren;a daughter in-law Constance Van Den Berghe; she was pre-deceased by a son Donald who was killed in Korea three days prior to armistice;her husband F.W. Van Den Berghe, and a daughter in-law Marion Van Den Berghe.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday October 28, 2005 in St. Raphael Church 103 Walker St. Manchester.
Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St. Bedford.
