Claude “Ronnie” Mayes, 69, passed away December 31, 2017.
He was a retiree of Philip Morris Tobacco Co. and Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Air Force, and a member of Harvest Baptist Church.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Brenda (Kelly) Mayes; and his father, Claude Paris Mayes.
Survivors include his mother, Susie Mayes; brother, Wayne (Jackie) Mayes; sisters, Donna (Patrick) Gaus, Debbie (Rick) Barton; and sister-in-law, Pat (Gary) Bowman; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.
Funeral service will be Friday at 11 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West, Mausoleum.
Visitation will Thursday 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
