Devoted mother of Karen Chaffee and her husband Richard Donovan of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and the late Robert F. Chaffee Jr. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Sister of Marjorie Tauber of Hyde Park.
A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham on Thursday, January 4th from 11am - 1pm. Followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 1pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rita's memory to the Animal Rescue League 55 Anna's Pl, Dedham, MA 02026.
