Lisa Lynn Dunn, 54, of Tifton passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Stephen Norris officiating. A eulogy will be given by Melanie Kennedy. Lisa will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 3, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Stuart Suttle, John Gibson, Eddie Dunn, Dwight Dunn, Herbie Benson and Timmy Dunn will serve as pallbearers.
Born April 9, 1963, Lisa was the daughter of Bernie Haldeman and Judy Jordan Haldeman of Tifton. She was a speech language pathologist and taught at Annie Belle Clark Elementary School in Tifton. She was a member of the Georgia American Speech and Hearing Association and the Georgia Association of Speech and Hearing. She was also a member of Tifton's First United Methodist Church and loved her dog, Oscar, and her cat, Little Girl.
In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by her husband, Robert Dunn of Tifton; one son, Michael Justin Dunn of Tifton; one daughter, Tara Lynn Dunn of Tifton; and one brother, Bo Haldeman of Tifton.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to the Tifton ASPCA.
