Dante A. Di Fronzo died peacefully at home in the company of his loving family. He was 74. Born and raised in Boston’s North End, Dante was the son of the late Dante C. and Adeline (Genovese) Di Fronzo. Dante served in the United States Army and after his honorable discharge, worked in the construction business. He and his family lived in Medford until he retired and moved to Woburn. He was a kind and friendly, who with his warm smile and generous heart touched many lives. He loved time with family and his many friends, but looked forward, most of all, to being with his grandchildren.
The beloved husband of Marilyn A. (Pascucci) DiFronzo, he was a devoted father to Dante A. DiFronzo, Jr. and his wife Danielle of Revere, Danielle Purcell and her husband David of Woburn, Dean DiFronzo of Billerica and his fiancée Ashley Gomes. He was a loving “Nonno” to Kaia Malena, and Grayson Purcell and Dante III and Avery DiFronzo. A dear brother to Ella Volpe, Archangelo "Bochie" DiFronzo and Camille Cavagnaro he was also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 11 AM in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
