William B. Egan III, age 64, passed away December 28, 2017 after a battle with cancer. Bill, a lifelong Weymouth resident, lived in the family home his entire life. He worked 25 years at Venture Tape in Hingham, bought by 3M; Brady enterprises in Weymouth, and Weymouth Art leather. He created many great memories travelling with his best friends Karl, Mike, John, and Bob to Las Vegas and Laconia for Bike Week. Bill enjoyed fly fishing and cruising on his Harley Davidson.
Bill is survived by his brother Steven Egan of Weymouth, an uncle, two aunts and many loving cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Bill which will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children ATTN: Office of Development 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607. Funeral services for Bill will be private at a later date at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Weymouth.
