Anna M. (Woytaszek) Fernandes, 76 formerly of Portsmouth, RI passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was wife of the late Francis S. "Frank" Fernandes.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Hilary and Anna (Wilk) Woytaszek, she had lived in Westport for over 25 years prior to moving to Portsmouth. She was a member of the Pentecostal Assembly of God Church, New Bedford, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Mrs. Fernandes loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Ann Marie Falaki and her husband Mohammad of Assonet and Christine Hamilton formerly of Tiverton; a brother: Milton Woytaszek of FL; a sister: Regina Oliveira of Portsmouth; 7 grandchildren: David, Jonathon and Kevin Falaki, Clifford, Brandon and Matthew Hamilton and Cassandra E. Means;6 great grandchildren: Mya-Marie and Jaxson Falaki, Deon, Dalen, Dysean and Tyree; and several nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late Joann E. Salva and sister of the late Walter, Edward, Irene, Sophie, Helen and Loretta.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.

Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
