Obituary

Paul T. Burr ("P.T."), of Burbank, CA and formerly of Framingham, MA, passed away suddenly on December 16, 2017, at the age of 93.

He leaves his devoted children: his daughter Carol Martin and her husband, George of Wayland and his son David A. Burr and his wife, Ceslee of Burbank, CA. He also leaves his grandson Miles Malachi Burr whom he affectionately referred to as "My Boy", his brother Charles Burr of Franklin, MA, and several nieces and cousins.

Born in Framingham, Mr. Burr was a graduate of Framingham High School and Bentley College. He was a proud veteran having enlisted in the Seabees during WWII where he served in the Pacific. He was a past Master of Alpha Masonic Lodge in Framingham and member of the former Grace Congregational Church where he served as a Trustee. He spent countless summers at the Weirs on Lake Winnipesaukee, enjoyed playing golf and believed in supporting those less fortunate.

Mr. Burr was a Certified Life Underwriter (CLU) and worked for in the insurance industry for many years. He embraced his retirement by driving cross country several times and through all 48 continental states, spending time in South Carolina, Arizona and Nevada before settling in Burbank. He had a ready smile for all, a great sense of humor and was always ready for an adventure.

Mr. Burr is pre-deceased by his parents, Paul and Gladys (Rideout) Burr and his former wife, Angela (Colantonio) Burr.

A Celebration of Life was held in Burbank.

A Memorial service will be held at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at NATICK COMMON, on MONDAY, JANUARY 15, 2018, at 11:00 AM. Visitation is from 10:00-11:00 AM.

Burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne was private.
