David William Garcia, 27 entered into eternal rest on December 20, 2017. He was born on August 24, 1990 in Holyoke MA, the son of Kimberly Garcia and Guillermo Rodriguez. He attended Chicopee schools and went on to attend ACI to become a Medical Assistance but due to unforeseen circumstances, the school closed down and David was in search of another school to finish what he started. David also wanted to become an EMT and eventually become a paramedic as he excelled in medical knowledge and had a passion for helping people. David is survived by his mother, Kimberly Garcia of West Springfield, MA and a sister and sister in law, Meghan and Bethzaida Garcia both of Springfield, MA along with two nephews, Jahsir and Jayden.. He also leaves his greatest life achievement, his son David William Garcia Jr. whom he cherished will all his heart. David is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Betty Garcia and Adan Garcia Ramirez of West Springfield. His paternal grandparents, Sharon Weaver of Reeds Spring, Missouri and Guillermo Rodriguez of Holyoke Ma. He is also survived by his uncles and significant others, Brian Garcia Sr.. Kevin Garcia (Chettele Houle) and Rick Weaver. He also leaves an aunt, Rebecca Jaycox of Reeds Spring, Missouri along with many cousins and special friends. David was predeceased by his father, Guillermo Rodriguez, his Uncle Dido aka Adan Garcia, and his maternal great grandparents as well as a great aunt, a great uncle and a cousin. Calling Hours will be from 6-8 pm, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Grise Funeral Home located at 280 Springfield Street, Chicopee MA 01013. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
