Charley Stephen Potter, 80, of Louisville, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 26, 2017.
He was born April 6, 1937 in Warsaw, NY. Charley attended Cornell University and graduated from the University of Kentucky. He was proud of his many years with Wehr Constructors, Inc.
He is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 60 years, Linda Sue (Wehr) Potter, his parents, Betty (Cheesman) Potter and Harley Potter, brothers, Edward Potter and Louis Potter.
Charley is survived by his three daughters Deborah Ann Heigl, Nancy Sue Adkins (Kevin) and Sue Ann Scharpf (Frank), his grand children, Brittany Adkins, Steven Heigl (Jennifer) , Kathleen Jackson (Chris) , James Scharpf and William Scharpf (Kalie), and great grand children, Autumn, Ashlyn and Kamdyn Jackson and Henry Heigl.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road, with service to follow at 1pm. Interment will be private.
