Milton Joseph Pepin
Milton “Joe” Pepin, 77, of Worcester passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday night at the St. Francis Home after an illness.
Milton leaves Helen Meola Pepin, his beautiful wife of over 51 years, as well as his son Milton and wife Daniele, his daughters Michelle Gangai and husband Gene, Melissa Pappo and husband Greg, his son Anthony and his wife Amanda, his daughter Adele, his daughter Helen Thiboutot and her husband Eric, as well as his 13 amazing grandchildren whom he cherished. He also leaves his sister, Frances Vigeant and many nieces and nephews. Milton is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Adele Pepin, his brother, James Pepin, his sister Mary Pepin St. Pierre.
After serving our country as a U.S. Marine, Milton graduated from UMass Restaurant and Hotel Management. He worked for the Marriott Corporation before he found his real passion in life, which was helping less fortunate people. He was a State Employment Counselor for over 25 years assisting hundreds of people, especially advocating for those with disabilities to feel hope and confidence in finding meaningful employment.
Milton was passionate about many things in life, especially his love for God as well as his wife and family. His love for music was shared with the world through his years of singing in the church choir and serenaded people wherever he went to make them smile! He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Alhambra Council #88.
A Funeral will held Saturday, December 30 from CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 11:00AM in Saint John’s Church, 44 Temple St. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, West Boylston. Visiting Hours are Friday, December 29 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint John’s Food for the Poor or to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
