NATRILLO - Ralph James Natrillo, Jr., 80, of Yulee, FL passed away Sunday evening, December 24, 2017.
Mr. Natrillo was born May 4, 1937 in New Haven, CT. He graduated from Wilbur Cross High School. He moved to the Wallingford/North Haven area when he started his family. Florida was his retirement home. He lived many years in Punta Gorda, where he loved boating. Afterwards, Mr. Natrillo moved to Fernandina Beach, where he enjoyed long walks on the beach with his beloved wife, Nina, of 57 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps.
He was a devoted husband and father and loved his family dearly. He always had a twinkle in his eye. Mr. Natrillo owned Fountainblue, Ralph’s Salon of Beauty, Ralph’s and Expressions hair salons. He truly loved hairdressing and was known for his creativity. He loved boating, the ocean, eating seafood, playing poker and dancing. Mr. Natrillo was also a builder. He built and renovated many homes, and enjoyed helping his children renovate their homes.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph James Natrillo, Sr. and Fay Cappola Natrillo; a brother, Richard Natrillo and a brother-in-law, Giacomo Gargano.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Natrillo of Yulee, FL; a son, Ralph James Natrillo, III, also of Yulee; two daughters, Janina DeMasi (John) of Chapel Hill, NC and Michelle Frosina (Tom) of Leesburg, VA; two sisters, Rosalie Gargano and Angela Harrington; and five grandchildren, John DeMasi (Christine), Natalie DeMasi, Nicholas DeMasi, Natasha Frosina and Alexandra Frosina.
