Obituary

William D. "Bill" Daley, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Christmas morning, December 25, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 68 years of age.

Bill was born in Somerville on July 27, 1949, a son of the late Frank G. Daley and Gloria (Goodwin) Daley. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1967. Bill worked as a truck driver for Agar Supply Company for 40 years. He enjoyed traveling to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire and was always the center of attention with his contagious sense of humor. Most important in Bill's life was his family whom he took great pride in providing for them and enjoyed the quality times he was able to spend with his wife, daughters and grandchildren.

Bill is the beloved husband of 47 years to Janice M. (Brady) Daley. He is the devoted father of Colleen Daley Sullivan and her husband Ed Sullivan and Cathleen Daley. He is the loving Papa to Hannah, William and Reghan. He is the beloved brother of Frank Daley and his wife Gerre and Bobby Stearns. He is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bill's visiting hours on Friday morning, December 29, 2017 from 9 to 11 A.M. followed by his Funeral Service at 11 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
