Obituary

Jean Marie Radochia died on Sunday, December 24, at Seasons of Danvers. Raised and educated in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Antonietta (Liberatore) Radochia. Jean lived for many years in Ogunquit and Kittery, Maine, before moving to Danvers three years ago.

Jean was the sister of Harold Radochia of York, Maine, the late Robert, William, Leonard, Rev. James, Walter and Thomas Radochia, and the late Evelyn Brawley. She is survived by lifelong friend Suzanne Spignese and many loving nieces and nephews.

Jean attended evening classes at Northeastern University for many years and earned her bachelors degree. She taught students at Whittier Technical in Haverhill, MA after retiring from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Jean enjoyed volunteering at York Hospital in York, ME for many years. She was an avid automobile enthusiast, owning and maintaining many automobiles during her lifetime. Jean played the piano and accordion, and was the life of the party. She hads a great sense of humor, and was kind and generous to all.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, December 29 at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Thursday, December 28, from 3 through 7 PM.
