Mary E. (Toole) Hoyt died Tuesday, December 19. She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts the daughter of John and Mary (Kennedy) Toole. She attended Cathedral High School in Springfield and graduated from Our Lady of the Elms College. While living in the Worcester area, she was an active in the Women's Auxiliary at St. Joan of Arc Church and served as a member and officer of the St. VIncent Hospital Guild of St. Agnes for many years. She taught in the Shrewsbury Public School system and Tahanto Regional High School. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel W. Hoyt and her sisters, Katherine Contant and Julia Walker. She leaves a son, Jack Hoyt and his wife Robin Woodley of Hawaii, a daughter Chris Hoyt of Spencer, grandchildren Jonathan Vaudreuil and his wife Sharon and Carrie Vaudreuil and her husband Adam Stern, and her great grandchildren Amy, Isla and Max as well as many nieces and nephews. Prior to moving to Stoughton last fall, she had been a resident of Naples, Florida for over 30 years. Memorial service arrangements are incomplete.
