Helen G. Siedel, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on Dec 19, 2017. She was born in Chicopee on Dec 1, 1926 to the late Gregory and Anna Francis (Dubiel) Polioudakis. She was a communicant of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Chicopee. She was employed for 25 years with the City of Chicopee before retiring in 1985. Helen organized the Chicopee Administrative Retired Employee Club and was President of the Chicopee over 60 Club. Helen was predeceased by her loving husband John B. Siedel who passed away in 2012. She leaves one step daughter Cathy Sena and her husband Ronald of Southwick; three grandchildren James, Kimberlee and Travis Koske; six great grandchildren Jamie, Nicholas, Isaiah, HeavenLee, Jack and Sydney also cousins Charles Pitaredis of Greenfield, Phil and Gladys Ambrose of NH, Dorothy Carvan of CT and Kathy and George Nicolantonakis of Canada. A Funeral Service will take place on Wed, Dec. 27, 2017 at 9:45 AM at the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a Service at 11:00 AM in Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Chicopee. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Tues, Dec. 26, 2017 from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
