New Bedford – Catherine (Nadolny) DeMello, age 64 of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of John A. DeMello and the daughter of the late Vickey Joy and Henry Nadolny.
Catherine was born in Norfolk, Virginia and had worked as a Food Service Manager for Sarah S. Brighton Nursing Home. She enjoyed scrap booking and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, John; son, John Henry DeMello and his wife, Sandy; 2 grandchildren, Jake and Lilly DeMello; siblings, Ella, Vicky, Edith, Caroline, Henry and Dale; as well as, several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend her visiting hours on Wednesday morning from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with a service to begin at 11:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
