Richard J. Hewins, age 75, of Holliston, passed away after a lengthy illness on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at the Timothy Daniels Hospice House in Holliston.
He was born in Framingham, and was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force. Richard was a member of the Massachusetts Laborers, Local 609. He enjoyed hunting, reading and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Lou (Tomasetti) Hewins; devoted father of Stacie Bernier & her husband Kristopher of Putnam, CT, Kim Kniskeren of MA and Linda Hewins of FL; loving grandfather of Aidan, Shea and Delanie; dear brother of the late Wesley Hewins, Raymond Hewins, Robert Hewins, Gail Weatherby, Elizabeth Creswell and Barbara Jean Midgley. Richard is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
