Brennan, Marian, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, died under hospice care on December 19, 2017. Marian was born February 8, 1931, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Louis Bertrand Brennan, Sr. and Mary Rose Wagner Brennan.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Louis Bertrand Brennan, Jr.(Lela (Redmon) Brennan), Charles Matthew Brennan and niece Marian Brennan Pearl.
Marian is survived by niece Carol Brennan (Edwin), nephews Louie Brennan (Joan) and Tommy Brennan (Irma). Marian was well taken care of by Louie and Tommy during her final years. Marian also leaves behind 6 great nieces and nephews and 7 great-great nieces and nephews.
Marian graduated from Loretto High School in 1949 and retired from South Central Bell in 1983 after more than 30 years of service. After retiring, Marian spent many years traveling and was an active resident at Chapel House in downtown Louisville. Marian was a long time member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church and more recently attended mass at St. Louis Bertrand.
Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway. Funeral mass will be at St. Louis Bertrand Church 1104 South Sixth Street 9:30 A.M. Friday. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
