Larry A. Driggers, 68, of Enigma passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Dr. Danny Ray officiating. Mr. Driggers will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends Friday, December 22, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born April 30, 1949 in Tift County, Mr. Driggers was the son of the late Arthur Driggers and Mildred Gregory Driggers. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Davis Driggers. He was employed with the City of Tifton and was superintendent at the City Shop. He loved animals, especially his dog and best friend, Cephus; loved being outside; and loved being with his family.
Mr. Driggers is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Kim Driggers of Tifton; two step-sons, Drew Berger of Enigma and Brandon Berger of Atlanta; one step-daughter, Kaylee Avalos of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Rebecca Driggers of Nashville; his grandchildren and their spouses, C. J. and Taren Driggers of Enigma, Savannah and Kevin Mendieta, Caitlyn Griner, Amanda Etheridge Potts and Baylee Avalos, all of Tifton; two great-grandchildren, Harper and Rilynn Driggers; a niece, Sonya Reiselt; a nephew, Raymond Driggers, Jr.; and a special caregiver, Donna Faye Walker of Enigma.
