Sharon Stanfill, 59, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 4 PM, Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Fitzgerald Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Terry Cole officiating. Interment will be private. The family will greet friends following the service.
Mrs. Stanfill was born October 14, 1958, in Elkhart, Indiana, to the late Wendell Cole & Sara Elizabeth Cone. She lived in the community all of her life and graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1976. Mrs. Stanfill worked at American Blanching in inventory control. She enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors as well as spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ellis Stanfill, Jr. of Fitzgerald; a daughter, Jennifer Brinson of Rincon; a son, Jim Redden & Katie of Fitzgerald; six grandchildren: Jozelyn Brinson, Luke Brinson, Saralynn Swanson, Eli Redden, Noah Redden and Isaiah Redden; two step-daughters: Melissa Stanfill of Fitzgerald and Sherry & Tim Padgett of Wilcox County; two brothers: Terry & Linda Sue Cole of Abbeville and Bart & Marie O’Neil of Warner Robins and a sister, Barbara & Robert Garrett of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
