Leo A. Leroux, 83

Leo A. Leroux, age 83, of Taunton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine M. (McKenna) Leroux, to whom he was wed on June 25, 1955.
Born in Attleboro, MA on April 26, 1934, he was a loving son of the late Arthur and Andrienne (Dumont) Leroux.
Leo grew up in Norton and was educated in Norton Public Schools. During the Korean, he served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Mr. Leroux was self-employed and the proud owner of Watchband Inc. and the H.D. MacDonald Enameling Co., both of which were operated in North Attleboro.
A resident of Taunton for past sixty-two years, he was a communicant of the former St. Paul’s Church in Taunton. Leo loved spending time with family and the simple pleasure of watching television in the comfort of his home. What he will be remembered for most, was his strong ethics for work.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted son Kevin L. Leroux and his wife Gayle of Norton. He was the dear brother of Annette Dumont of Norton, and the late Frances “Champ” Leroux and Robert Leroux. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren Justin Leroux and his fiancé Erin Tegan, Megan Leroux and her boyfriend John Hardiman, Kyle Leroux and his girlfriend Tiffany Donna-Golob, and Bryan Palagi and his fiancé Allison Hayes, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services, along with burial at the Norton Common Cemetery in Norton will be privately at the convenience of his family.
Visiting hours have been omitted and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of ones choice.
