James “Jim” Leonard Gore 96, passed away Saturday at his home. He was retired from American Synthetic and was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years Maxine Louise and daughter Sherry Gore. He is survived by his daughters Sarah Gore, Christy Mitchell ( Eddie), 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. His funeral will be 1 pm Friday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation 3 pm to 8 pm Thursday.
