Obituary

Laureen M. (Olsen) Fisher, age 62, a lifelong resident of Natick, recently retired to Naples, Maine, died on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at her home.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John & Alice (Baker) Olsen.

Laureen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was cherished by everyone who was lucky enough to feel her love. She enjoyed cruising on Lake Sebago with her husband with whom she shared 41 magical years of marriage. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest achievement, and she spoiled them rotten with gifts and love. Laureen worked at Russ' Lunch and SunLife Insurance for many years and treasured the friendships she found there. In her spare time, Laureen enjoyed trips to the casino, theater, and York Beach, Maine. She found great joy in bringing people together to celebrate life and love, and she will be forever missed.

Laureen was the beloved wife of Louis "Jim" Fisher, Jr.; devoted mother of Lyn Rampersad & her husband Shiva, Shannon Seder & her husband Mike, Timothy Fisher & his wife Christine and Emily McHugh & her husband Robert; loving grandmother of Derek, Kadin, Madelyn, Erin, Jackson, Cheyenne and Mason; dear sister of Valerie Collins, John Olsen, Jr., Cheryl Ebeling, Pamela Whitelaw, Kenneth Olsen, Lawrence Olsen, Erik Olsen, Leigh Olsen, Jennifer Gerard, Marc Olsen and the late Alyse Ferguson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visiting hours at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at NATICK COMMON, on Thursday, December 21, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 PM.

Funeral services at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, at NATICK COMMON, on Friday, December 22, 2017, at 9:00 AM, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Patrick's Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, at 10:00 AM.

Interment services will follow at Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Pond Street, Natick.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Laureen's memory may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute-The Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
