Rita Elaine Lynn was born on February 27th, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Edward and Lenore Buechel. She entered Heaven's gates on December 16th, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, she dedicated her life to those around her. Her unwavering faith and commitment to her family and friends will live on forever.
Rita enjoyed crocheting, music, and spending time with her family and friends. Her love for music showed as a dedicated member of The Manchester Choral Society for 18 years. She was an avid pianist. Music filled her heart with joy and her days with song.
She is survived by her loving siblings Thomas (Mary Lou), Mary Lee (Roy), Judi (Ron), and Joseph (Julie); her sons Michael (Jennifer), Andrew (Leiha), and Jeffrey; her grandsons Clark and Ethan; and numerous beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Her love and compassion for everyone that she met will be cherished forever.
Calling hours was held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 9am to 12pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry, NH. A memorial reception will be Friday December 29th following mass, Puritan Backroom 245 Hooksett Rd, Manchester, NH 03104. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manchester Choral Society, 88 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03101.
