Lorraine Claire (Blais) Fisher, age 85, passed away on Saturday December 16, 2017 in the presence of her family. She was born on March 8, 1932 in Chicopee to the late Albert and Evelina (Roy) Blais. She leaves 2 sons, Donald R Fisher of Chicopee and Paul Fisher and his wife Laura (Wilcox) of Westfield; 1 daughter, Anne Plante and her husband Mark of Upper Marlboro, MD and 4 grandchildren, Andrew Plante, Ryan Plante, Gray Fisher and Hayden Fisher. She is predeceased by her brothers Roland and Donald Blais and also by her sister Constance Caron. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral from 9:00 -11:00 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017 at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee, with a prayer service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St Rose de Lima Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Association, 264 Cottage St, Springfield, MA 01104.
