Vera E. Clarke, 98, of Derry, NH Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Colonial Poplin Nursing Facility, Fremont, NH. She was born on November 19, 1919 in Dracut, MA. She worked in the state house in Boston, MA for many years. Vera loved spending time with her grandchildren and was the happiest when with them. She dedicated her entire life to taking care of her son, Vincent Jr. whom she loved very much.
She was predeceased by her husband of almost 60 years in 2011 and is survived by her son, Vincent Jr, daughter Rosemary and son-in-law Peter Iannazzi, and two grandchildren, Lauren and Mark.
A small memorial with calling hour was held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 9 - 10 am in the Peabody Funeral Home & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH with burial that followed at Forest Hills Cemetery, East Derry, NH. Memorial contributions may be made to Moore House, Manchester, NH or the United Way.
