Anne T. (Langan) Herring 75, of Natick, died Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Medway Country Manor, in Medway. She was the beloved wife of the John F. Herring, Jr. sharing 52 years of marriage. Born and raised in Newton and a Natick resident for 48 years, the daughter of the late Michael Langan and Mary Anne (Courtney) Langan.
Anne was employed by John Hancock Insurance as a medical transcriber before the birth of her children and worked at Fannon’s Liquors in Natick for over 20 years. She was devoted to her family and friends and enjoyed endless conversations with them over her lifetime. She enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods and Twin River Casino with her husband and her vacations to Europe, Bermuda, Cape Cod and the weekend yard/estate sales with her sister and niece.
She is survived by her husband, John F. Herring Jr., of Natick, her four children John F. Herring and his children, Brenna and Connor of Natick; Robert J. Herring and his son Shane; her daughter Marianne Forrest and her husband Paul and their children, Patrick, Paul and Caroline of Norwood; Patricia Finlay and her husband Ricky and their children Olivia and Robert of Framingham, her sister-in-law Betsy Herring of Westbrook, Maine as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her sisters Mary Langan from Scituate, Priscilla McCoy from Plymouth, Evelyn Coughlin from Natick and was also the sister of the late Daniel, Peter and John and her beloved sister-in-law Agnes Langan. Anne was blessed to be the Godmother of Deborah (Coughlin) Linton and Thomas Langan, both from Natick.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Wednesday, December 20, at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, December 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
